Great job!

Hi Folks,

This is a new version, it may fail, so be carefull.
The programs mencoder/mplayer/mencoder_mt/ffmpeg were compiled to MacOSX 10.5 and 10.6 and without the need of libraries in Framework folder, they are not statically linked, but the extra libraries not present in a clean MacOSX installation are statically linked to these new programs.
So, no new enhancements, just trying to support MacOS 10.5 and eliminate the Framework folder.
Let me know if it work (or not)

Can you try to run any file that generate this message and post the debug.log, so I can take a look?
To get the debug.log file to the following:
- Open a terminal "Applications" -> "Utilities" -> "Terminal.app"
- copy and paste in terminal:
Code: Select all
\cp -f /Applications/PS3\ Media\ Server.app/Contents/Resources/Java/debug.log ~/Desktop/

- Goto your Desktop, locate the file called debug.log

Thanks,
Zaxtron

Great job under 10.5, thanks! MKVs with header stripping play fine.

Hi all,
I'm running the latest beta versions (either the Otmanix build or the Zaxtron build) successfully to both a PS3 and an Oppo 93 on an i7 iMac running 10.6.7 but with one BIG problem: streaming VIDEO_TS or .ISO files is always out of synch, no matter what settings I try. I'm guessing this is a problem with the newer compiles of Mencoder because if I revert to the 409 beta (I'm using the version that fixes the "GoTo" function available here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7836&start=180) then everything works fine. The only problem being that the Oppo won't recognise the 409 build:-(
Is anyone successfully streaming VIDEO_TS or .ISO files with these newer builds?
One other problem I'm having streaming FLAC files to the Oppo (which handles them without transcoding) is that it always lists every track twice. I'm guessing this is a problem with the Oppo. The DLNA support is a little flakey . . .

Hello,

Same with this new version i had

[osx/mencoder] TRACE 15:25:03.040 Process /Applications/PS3 Media Server.app/Contents/Resources/Java/osx/mencoder has a return code of 133! Maybe an error occurred... check the log file

Thanks

Ok, I've just install X11 and it works just fine. BUT ... why i need x11 with your version and do not need it with the other ? I found another log which maybe is important.

You need to manually remove references to X11 in the makefiles Zaxtron. Just using the configure options for that is not enough, it will still link some X11 libraries. I had the same issue with my build.
