Just tried with the new conf, just as you said, with no spaces, and still no luck. This is what the TRACER indicates when I try to play a video in YouTube:

Hi!
I cant set to work channel 179 to work. I can see only Channel Menu on PS3 like Cache, local playlist... Channel files are in /usr/lib/ps3mediaserver/channels. Pmsencoder, and pms works great, no errors. There is error in channel.log:

Any ideas?

Fixed now, I had to build pms from source because vesion from ppa:happy-neko/ps3mediaserver repo had errors on ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Now working like a charm

I have installed the latest version of the PMS and PMSEncoder. I have successfully been able to view web content on my PS3 using that configuration.

However, when adding the channels plugin, I get the following error message (dialog box) from the PMS at startup:

PMS version 1.54.0
Java version 1.7.0. R5 (latest from Oracle)

PMS running on PC with Windows Vista SP2

Hello

I'm having problems with the Channel/pmsencoder/rtmpdump setup

Can't play any webcontent using Channel, primarily interested in getting SVT play to work
Help dearly appreciated!

Have installed according to https://github.com/SharkHunter/Channel/ ... stallation

BTW. I get the exakt same error when I run SharkHunter Build 43!
(Streaming of other content, .iso etc. causes no issues)

Are there somewhere up to date docs for the plugin? Cause for example I've been looking for the way to unescape the url for hours, until I've found prop=name_unescape in some ch files, and tried to put url_unescape.

Hi guys I'm having an issue with "This content cannot be played 800288E1" when trying to watch something in Icefilms using a rapidshare source.

I'm using Windows 7 with Intel Pentium processor, and 3GB DD3 of memory streaming over Wifi to my Ps3 via PMS SHB 43. Attached is my debug log, pms.conf and web.conf. Also, why is it that I only see rapishare links and not 180, vidhog, etc when using icefilms?

The observant might have seen a new Channels (or 3 actually) on the github. So this is a wrapup notice. The new (ver 1.88) contains two main feature.
1) StreamVariables. On the actual media you'll see some "varaibles" these are stuff you can set on a per stream basis, Currently 3 are defined (subdelay,startdelay and force mpeg2). If you got a stream you feel needs a longer inital start delay try increasing it from the XMB.

2) "Null player". A new stab to avoid transcoding if possible. To use set channels.net_disc=true in you conf file and hopefully no transcoding will be done if you can avoid it. If it fails you can combine it with channels.force_mpeg2=true to force the transcoding to mpeg2 (that is as it has always been). If you leave these config out PMSEncoder will still be used.

Plus a whole bunch of other minor fixes.

I'm still getting the Corrupted Data message when trying to play things from the Navi-X channel, like anything under Icefilms, however stuff on the VeeHD channel works fine. I have looked around this forum but still can't find a resolution for this problem

I'm using PS3 Media Server SHB43 on my Windows Home Server and accessing the content through my PS3.

Can anyone help?
