PMSEncoder problem detected in log

Postby Olof » Wed Jan 05, 2011 10:37 am

Hi

I just downloaded PMSEncoder yesterday, and when starting PMS I found this in the log tab:

[main] TRACE 08:15:17.018 Registering transcoding engine PMSEncoder

Edit: Where it says "Åtkomst nekad" on the FileNotFoundException, it is swedish for "Access denied".

What might be the problem here?

Running PMS SubJunk build 10 on Windows 7.

Which? Did you install it manually, or via the SubJunk build (which includes PMSEncoder 1.3.0), or both?

Is the PMS directory writable? Does it work if you run as Administrator?

If you don't have permission to write to the PMS directory, for now you'll need to create a custom logging config file and specify a different location:

Feel a bit silly now, but it actually was as simple as allowing my logged in user write access to the PMS directories.

Regarding the first questions, I was actually using subjunk build 9. I guess it didn't include the PMSEncoder because I had to download it myself and put it in the (empty) plugin directory.

Anyway, thanks both for the help and also for the software.
