Movieinfo

Postby BruceBanner » Wed Sep 22, 2010 5:43 am

The how to manual says unzip and extrat the files movieinfo files here "C:\Programme\PS3 Media Server\plugins". I presume C:\Programme actual means C:\Program Files (note im running xp) but my PMS installation never arrived with a plugin folder?! I created one anyway and dumped the files in, and still no movieinfo.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Bruce

i just reinstalled PMS and can confirm with 1.10.51 i have no plugin folder, furthermore creating one and dumping said items within is not giving me movieinfo.

(This should be in the Additions and Plugins subforum. There's also a thread for that plugin there.)

My apologies for not posting in the correct subforum. I of course read the other threads u posted otherwise how else was i going to know it was supposed to be extracted in the plugin folder?! I read that the 1.20.409 BETA was instable, will give it a whirl anyway. Wasn't going to report this as an actual bug report so didnt think i needed to give all my pc specs. I'll get back to u if i need to, gonna give this beta a whirl.

spoke to soon, two crashes when watching a 720p episode of house. :(
Think thats the last straw for me, after the ps3 firmware update that my ps3 underwent this morning it is virtually impossible to navigate a files timeline, who knows when this will be fixed. Not the first time i have been dissapointed with Sony, pats on back for all who have tried to make the PMS work.
