Hopefully I#m posting this correctly, with the latest PMS and the latest 1.91 build of PMS I'm unable to play the apple trailers video.

I've uploaded the logs
http://www.mediafire.com/download/gt0td ... dc/PMS.rar

However I think the issue lies with this entry in my debug logs.
DEBUG 2013-08-21 12:25:53.426 [ffmpeg.exe-2] Starting "C:\Program Files (x86)\PS3 Media Server\win32\ffmpeg.exe" -loglevel warning -y -threads 8 -user-agent QuickTime/7.6.2 -i "http://trailers.apple.com/movies/magnolia_pictures/muscleshoals/muscleshoals-tlr1_h640w.mov" -threads 8 -q:a 3 -maxrate 25000000 -c:a ac3 -c:v mpeg2video -f vob \\.\pipe\pmsencoder_transcoder_out_1377080753102_38

DEBUG 2013-08-21 12:25:53.717 [Thread-19] Error while opening encoder for output stream #0:0 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height

Since I can't see where the VBV buffer is defined, or find any file that defines the Buffer used for the ffmpeg, I'm a little lost as to what I need to alter.

Any guidance would be much appriciated.

Many thanks.

Thanks for providing all the details: I was able to reproduce the issue. I've committed a (possible) fix/workaround. Try the latest PMSEncoder snapshot build (remove the old PMSEncoder jar and replace it with the "jar-with-dependencies" version).

Hi guys,

My question is simple and short (hopefully);

I bought a new IPTV server. But when i put login info to the web.conf file it doesn't work,
it is something like this:

"videostream.Web,Mac=LiG TV-6,http://admin:root@88.150.193.20:8080"

this IP:PORT was working before put login info: 'admin:root@'

is there any workaround for this?

thanx very much.

Hey chocolateboy

First up, thanks for a great plugin. I have used it for ages on my Windows 7 PMS install without issue.

I have recently moved my server over to a headless Ubuntu Server 12.04.

I am running the happy-neko 1.81.0 install of PMS and have tried both the pmsencoder-2.0.0-rc1.jar and pmsencoder-2.0.0-SNAPSHOT-jar-with-dependencies.jar.

I have also tried PMSEncoder with the latest UMS, but had no joy there so I am back to my spiritual home.

Unfortunately, I am having issues. PMS works fine as long as I don't have PMSEncoder in the plugins directory. If I do have it in there then it errors on startup and PMS will not start. It seems to do with ffmpegWebVideo.

If I can provide any further information that may help, please let me know, because I really want to get my favourite plugin back up and running.

Debug Log:

http://pastebin.com/dH87qAtL

This is the last line:
Code: Select all
INFO  2013-08-25 17:41:57.885 [main] Configuration error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/pms/encoders/FFmpegWebVideo

PMS.conf:

http://pastebin.com/sXZZtwgP

No pmsencoder.log is generated as far as I can find.

If you want to carry on using an old/unsupported version of PMS, you'll need to use an old/unsupported version of PMSEncoder.

Thanks for the heads up.

It's not so much that I want to use an old/unsupported version... more that I'm a bit of a Linux n00b and googling install PMS Ubuntu takes you to the happy-neko package on this site.

I'll remove 1.81.0 and go with the latest version to see how I get on. Thanks for the links.

I've had problems with the pmsencoder. If I install the latest build of PMS Sharkhunter (43) I have no issues. If I decide to use the newest PMS Encoder by deleting the older and adding the new one to the Pluggin folder, I receive an error message that says:
Error initializing PMS!
Configuration error:net/pms/encoders/FFMpegwebvideo

Any reason why?

Thanks!

I'm trying to get pmsencoder to work but i'm failing big time.

My samsung tv displays the error [not supported file format]. Streaming other content which is not web related works perfect.

I have attached the config files. Any help is very appreciated
