Hi,

I am running windows 7 x86 (64bit) and I have done all you asked to have the webradios. I read all this thread and found some people had the same problem I have but the uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked fine. But for my part it won't work. The web radio.exe tells me I have already downloaded the information, but when I do step 2 then 3, the WEB.conf file will never update....
I am starting losing hope

Anyone can help?

Thx, mark

Windows 7 64 Bit huh? I had the same problem. Open the folder you moved the program to and run it as an administrator. Just repeat steps 2 and 3. Worked for me.

Just checking in to see how things are going.

For those people having problems, did running as Administrator to create/modify the web.conf file work ok?

My userid has admin priv which means I didn't need to specifically run-as on my machine.

@ Existenz404
add these to your favorites, you'll get the best sound quality from the aac stream

I have tested and verified these streams

Happy Holidays, I hope this helps :)

To add that station easily, add this line to the bottom of favorites.csv:
Vancouver 95.3,http://64.34.159.32:8000/ckzz-aac

Then re-run Steps 2 & 3 only (do not re-run Step 1)
Remember to restart the ps3media service.

Wihle adding the entry to mine, I found an issue with PS3 Media Service. It does not like a leading space in the web reference. I have modified PS3Radio to check for and remove if found any leading spaces.

As always, download the latest here:

ps: I have added the 95.3 to the sample favorites and added an icon.

I just wanted to add something to what I posted a few days back about running ps3 radio as an administrator. If you aren't running ps3 media server as an administrator it won't save the conf file to the programs directory. It will put it in a backup directory. That directory can be found by looking in trace. In order for the conf file to be updated correctly you need to have the file in the programs directory that PMS is installed to. This can be fixed by either copying it from the backup directory or running ps3 media server as an administrator. Either way it would be beneficial to change the properties page to run as administrator ever time. This will ensure the correct file location is always used.

Hope I got that across clearly, it's been a long day.

Your comments about 'run as administrator' are good. I'll try to detect the mode and popup a message if there is a problem. Give me a day or so to figure it out.

I can't believe I'm the only one to ask this but ....

I'm running my PMS on Ubuntu 9.10!

I'm happy to do the port if you want to give me your source.
