PS3-Radio: How to add thousands of radio station to PS3MS

Please help me!!!!!!!!

I have installed , uninstalled , installed maybe 10 times in the last week with the same results.

I have a PS3. I install everything with positive results. I run the server and shows PS3 found, On my PS3 I find the server under music and then I have several folders under the PS3 media server which are YOU TUBE , PODCASTS, C, D, VIDEO , WEB , AND SOMETHING ELSE, WHEN I GO INTO THE WEB FOLDER , IT SHOWS 4 RADIO STATIONS FROM FRANCE AND THEN ANOTHER FOLDER RADIO VLC HAS ANOTHER RADIO STATION FROM FRANCE. They all work but I can't find all the other 1000 or so stations. I cannot find a world radio icon anywhere.

I even tried installing a new version of avisynth, new java update and nothing. I have done steps 1-3 on the app all ten times while waitng over a half hour with no error messages.

I have playon and that worked fine with no isssues ever.

Have you copied the ps3radio files into the appropriate directory on your PC and then clicked on the icon to run through the 3 steps?

If yes, did you restart the ps3 media server to activate the changes?

The ps3radio program has no 'installer'
You simply copy it into the correct spot and run it to add the stations to your ps3 menu.

If you are successful, it will add a 'World Radio' item on your ps3 menu.

unfortunately I do not have a Sony TV with network support. Only PS3 (5 of them).

If you could get even one of them to work ok, I would add support to my program to generate the radio file to support the TV format.

Most likely the PS3 media server program itself needs a configuration change.

Thanks for the response. I'll see what I can do to the ps3mediaserver program on the podcasts. Till now I didn't find any configurable options for the podcasts or radio options. Only for the video options.

When I find a solution I'll post it here.

I have exactly the same problem as NATUREFISH.

I am extracting all the files from the PS3-radio zip to the PS3 Media server folder.

Run the ps3 radio exe and all is fine stepsv1-3 then restart.

There is no world radio icon on my PS3??

If it helps I have a brand NEW PS3 SLIM 120GB

I have spent a ton of time trying to make this thing work but its a no go. I really wish I could make it work. Can anyone create a patch or workaround to this problem. The world radio icon is nowhere on the PS3, It only shows on my laptop.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem as NATUREFISH and KOOLJP.

I am extracting all the files from the PS3-radio.zip file to the C:\Program Files\PS3 Media server folder.

I run the ps3 radio.exe and go through steps 1-3 with no problem at all then I restart PS3MS.

I go to Music under the XMB menu on my PS3 and there is no World radio icon at all. All i see is a Web\Radios\ folder with three Webradio links in it (Jet Radio, Smooth Jazz and All Classic)

Me too I have a brand new PS3 Slim with 120 GB Disk.

Should I re-install both PS3MS and PS3-radio programs to make it work?

Guys, you seem to be doing the right thing.

I have made a small change to the program.

It will now display the full name of web.conf during STEP3.
It also looks for a <cr><lf> as the end of line for the last line of the original file.

Since I append to the original data, a bad ending will screw-up my start.

Download the latest zip file and you should only need to run steps 2 & 3.

Also note: Do you end up with a large text file called: World-Radio-Web-Conf.txt ??
Does it contain LOTS of lines of data?
Resist the urge to manually append it if possible because if manually edited, it is harder for me to detect and update.
