Here's my list of feeds. A lot of them I got from this thread but I've got one for Gametrailers.com and a couple other HD sources in there.

I can't remember but a couple seem to be broken. I know HubbleCast is broken and a couple of the OpenU might not work. I use mencoder to stream from my Fedora 10 box if that helps anyone.

Just a quick question for you guys...

Do these streams update themselves with new content? For instance, will the gametrailers one have the new video reviews and so on as they are posted on the GT site?

Cheers!

In my experience, these are self updating RSS feeds. I'm not aware of PMS caching the listings but I do know that sometimes the PS3 likes to cache listings from DLNA servers. If you're ever not sure if the ps3 is caching you can tell it to scan for servers and then hit O to cancel (rather than waiting) and once the servers pop back in the XMB, the results should be refreshed. I've had to do that in the past after I added a new file to Mediatomb in a folder I had recently browsed.

FYI you can go to gametrailers.com and set up your own feed if you want more or less stuff than what I put in mine.

Yeah, I find this to be one of the most annoying things! I wish you could completely disable caching of these entries. I don't think I'd mind waiting a few seconds while browsing up and down folders, if they were always up-to-date! :)

Thanks for your reply lowlight and a huge thanks for the GT feed. Its AWESOME!

I honestly wouldnt know how to set one up though. Im a complete noob with this kind of thing and am lucky I got it up and running at all!

How often do the feeds update? I would be very grateful if you could write a somewhat detailed explanation of how to set up a feed and how to make sure my PSM is updating it automatically. Thanks again!
