I honestly wouldnt know how to set one up though. Im a complete noob with this kind of thing and am lucky I got it up and running at all!

How often do the feeds update? I would be very grateful if you could write a somewhat detailed explanation of how to set up a feed and how to make sure my PSM is updating it automatically. Thanks again!

Go to http://www.gametrailers.com and look for the link for RSS on the bottom of the page.
That should lead you here http://www.gametrailers.com/rssgenform.php

Fill out the form with what you want in the feed and submit it.

Copy the link from the "Custom RSS Feed" on the resulting page and add it to your WEB.conf.

I just tried to create one for EurogamerTV. It does appear in my PS3 XMB but I get the "Data Corrupted" error.

Maybe someone else can try this one out?

http://rss.feedsportal.com/feed/eurogamer/eurogamer_tv (Obviously need the appropriate code before the address).

EDIT: Also tried this one for ZeroPunctuation (funny gaming reviews) but got the same error code. Is it something I am doing wrong or is PMS not compatible with the media players on these sites?

RSS feed does not give links to a videostreams, but to html pages and mediafile is .jpeg thumbnail. I have done few site conversions to well-formatted ps3ms feed. Looked at the uitzendinggemist.nl webpages and it seems its possible to create similar conversion, but it requires few extra steps
* call html video page, take cookie value, call initialization.js page and take md5 hashvalue, call metaplayer.xml with cookie and md5 values, parse .asx videostream urls, call .asx and take internal mms urls. Use mms:// urls in a rss feed. As you can see it takes several steps but is possible, I can implement it someday in near future.

Same goes here, plain rss urls mean nothing to DLNA servers unless rss feed gives direct link to (hidden) videostreams. Most rss feeds link to a webpages or .swf videoplayer so its a no-go. Some conversions and magic to resolve internal videolinks are mandatory.

Can anybody help me get this

videofeed.Web,Youtube,Ehrensenf=http://www.youtube.com/ut_rss?type=username&arg=ehrensenf

running with this awesome program? For me, it works neither transcoded nor original. Maybe I have to use a different URL.

No, you are not doing anything wrong. PS3MS should support Youtube rss feed it has some hardcoded resolver classes to find the internal video file. But for some reason it does not work anymore. Resolution is there is a bug in an internal Youtube resolver. I could look at it someday and see why my resolver works but PS3MS one does not.

I have done own 3rd party website to rss feed converter and one of them is Youtube html urls. Using my webapp and videofeed url below I was able to play Ehrensenf videos. NOTE: this application takes youtube html urls, not rss urls.
videofeed.Web,Youtube=http://localhost:8080/areenafeed/youtube.jsp?medialink=e26&title=Ehrensenf&url=profile?user=Ehrensenf%26view=videos
