I wanted to add some optimalizations for CSFD server and enabling nfo support again so it will be much appreciated.

I fixed CSFD.CZ parsing for new web layout and removed some parts of unnecessary code for all plugins which made big delays due to obsolete http://www.newzleech.com lookups.
IMDB web parsing wasn't changed so it will not probably work(used latest public sourcecode from Xylexis)

Hi there!

I'v stumbled on the pms and this plugin two days ago and i like it a lot. I'm currently using a Xbox360 as pms-client and i had to tweak the MovieInfo-Plugin a little so that it matches my needs.

Here is what i've changed:

• Directory Prefix - On my Xbox the order of the MovieInfo output was mixed up, so i added an ascending prefix of the form '#001', '#002' etc. to its output (it only sorts by name)
• Path Separator - I've noticed that the downloaded covers are misplaced (i run pms on linux), so i changed the responsible path seperator char from '\' to '/', this may also work for windows but havn't tested it
• OFDB Plugin Improvements - I only added support for getting the director and the genre from OFDB
• IMDB_DE Plugin - I've converted the existing IMDB Plugin to use the german IMDB. To use it, add 'IMDB_DE' to the Plugins array of your MOVIEINFO.conf. Note that this plugin downloads movie-posters/thumbnails in higher quality than the original IMDB plugin

To achieve these changes, i've reverse-engineered the plugin code from the latest MovieInfo.jar from Xylexis, because his version was working best for me (couldn't find his sources). As you can see some of the changes are rather Xbox specific and i rather hacked them as i've developed them, so consider to review the code before using it.

However i couldn't get the downloaded covers to work. They are named correctly ('<movie>.avi.cover.jpg') bute arn't 'merged' with the video-file (neither on the Xbox nor on XBMC). Do i need to do anything else than putting them in the same directory as the movie?

I set this up last night but when I go into the imdb info all it ever displayes is the producers name and the trailer, and if I try the trailer link it always says file corrupt.

I'm wondering if it's because my movies do not have .nfo files, I was under the impression it pulled the info from the IMDB web site based on the movie name, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

All im getting is three folder icons with these three texts attached to them:

TItle: Beerfest (2006) - IMDb
Director: Jay Chandrasekhar
Director: Jay Chandrasekhar

Can someone put a printscreen how it's supposed to look when it's actually working?

I scrolled through it all and this is what is written earlier: The project died when iMDb updated their homepage. Because that changed everything.

Not true because after imdb web update some guys updated imdb plugin(same as I did for www.csfd.cz) so it should work

Yep, I get the same thing. My MOVIEINFO.conf has "DisplayInfo=title,rating,tagline,genre,plot,cast,director" and this doesn't appear.

I'm not sure where this info is suppose to be displayed, but I find this little information in a folder "#-- MOVIE INFO --#
Browsing this folder is slow to react and when it finally does show the little info above it's not saved. I need to slowly rescan to get any info and when I do click a trailer I get "Corrupt Data".

My version of PMS is 1.21.1
Running Windows XP Pro.
The MOVIE INFO version is MovieInfo JAR 14122009.zip

Any suggestions are appreciated. I'm sure this plugin works great. I didn't see any NFO files saved where the movies were located.

does anybody know if the IMDB Support is working again in the next Time?
I think that's a VERY GREAT Plugin with the Trailers and the Thumbnails from the Actors and so on.
It's very Pity that this is not working!
Is there a new Release from the MOVIE INFO PLUGIN available?
