Yes, I just installed with 366 last night.
Make sure don't put your movies too deep like C/users/your user id/my vedio/movies it wont work due to the limitations so I put mine under the c driver directly.

Thanks forf the reply, 2 questions:

1. How deep and is C: drive essential. I have my movies on K: drive my second 2TB hardrive. The folder for example is K:Scifi/Bladerunner/bladerunner.mkv and k:scifiBladrunner/bladerunner.nfo. is this to deep?
2. In the traces I see all the conf and trancoders loading messages, nothing regarding movieinfo. Shouldn't I see something there? Should the plugin be listed under plugin section in general configuration tab? I have nothing there either. I am running vista 64bit with UAC

1. I remember the max is 7 so you should be fine.
2. In the traces you should have a line like this "[main] TRACE 20:43:10.413 Detected plugin net.pms.movieinfo.MovieInfo" and also you should see a folder called ###Movie Info### (something like that) under each movie folder, in your case you should have it under K:Scifi/Bladerunner. If you don't see it might mean you did something wrong.

No trace or folder. PMS is working fine, reayy fine never crashes. streams 1080p at speeds of 22-40 mbps. Decodes everything. I thought al I need to do is drp the conf from aug 31 and the jar from 020902 i n the plugin folder. Anything else need todo. I've done that. Should the conf file be in the PMS folder and not the plugin folder?

That two files should be in the plugin folder - C:\Program Files (x86)\PS3 Media Server\plugins (I am running win7 x64).

You may want to try two things here.
1. copy a movie folder under C: and see if you can see it.
2. reinstall PS3MS and extract the two files to the plugin folder to see if it makes difference.

You downloaded wrong file ;)
File from 2.9. don't have few kB but MB!!! You downloaded pms.jar file I suppose instead of plugin jar only. Plugin version has in name date from 31.8.2009 or something like that.
Download this one an put it to plugin folder and check TRACES after restart of PMS.
Code: Select all
MovieInfo JAR 31082009.zip

And I have another problem. Seems I can't get Youtube contents (movie trailers) streamed to my PS3. Am I missing something? My internet connect speed is 10mb/0.5bm.
