I'm back, with more logs, and i think im really missing something here.

Reinstalled SHB42 + XBMC

Included repository.t0mm0-1.0.3.zip on XBMC addon(Tried veetle, see channels and playing channels.)

Now while veetle on PMS PS3 still shows no titles, i managed to watch the best of Seinfield.

I also managed to get lists from Freedocast, but everything that i've tried playing fails(Data Corrupted)

so this reinstallation only managed to get me some Seinfield(still fun to watch at the moment)

i tried to read up on the jumpy logs, and heres what i've found so far,

freedocast been updated with folders like
"Settings: {}
[jumpy] Adding unresolved item: Sun Silk." ,

veetle comes back as

i'm pretty sure there must have been something that i left out(would be great to get some help here)

got it finally! thx mate!

i figured that simplejson was somehow missing, did a google search and came up with this.

now veetle works with slight corrupted data notices for certain streams so far ^^

for those with the same problems, get the folder from here. http://code.google.com/p/anarchintosh-p ... p&can=2&q=

now im actually wondering if there are other streaming providers for HD streaming like youtube and better yet, HD live streaming for soccer/sports matches.

This looks like a great plug-in but sadly for me XBMC keeps crashing for whatever reason. Would this plugin work if I would get the XBMC add-ons in some other way then download them through XBMC GUI? How could I get the addons if that would work?

These are connection issues, sorry but I have nothing very useful to suggest.

You could put it together by hand. Quick overview:

• Create an 'XBMC' appdata folder if necessary (presumably XBMC has already done this). The default locations are listed here, or you can use an arbitrary location and set xbmc_home inside jumpy-xbmc.conf (see the readme).
• Download and unzip each addon to XBMC\addons.
• Locate and install the dependencies listed in the addon's config.xml under <requires>, e.g. for Hulu:

  <requires>
  <import addon="xbmc.python" version="1.0"/>
  <import addon="script.module.beautifulsoup" version="3.0.8"/>

  <import addon="script.module.cryptopy" version="1.2.6"/>
  </requires>
  

  (you don't need xbmc.python, which is provided internally by jumpy).
• Repeat the previous step for each dependency's config.xml until all sub-dependencies are satisfied.
• Configure the addon if necessary by editing its resouces\settings.xml.

This should be it for most addons, though it's obviously a very tedious way to go. It's probably more worthwhile to troubleshoot XBMC and get it working right.

Hey folks, at glenrocks' request, I found my way here and did a bit of reading. I'm getting ready to release the new version of 1Channel for XBMC, which should take care of the dialog issue (and not pound the source's servers )

I just tested your new version and everything seems to be working just fine after a minor fix on the jumpy side, which will be addressed in the next release. For those who can't wait, just open up jumpy/xbmc/xbmcaddon.py and change line 33

Its been a while...Thanks to Bstrdsmkr for finding his way here and responding to my request...meanwhile Infidel solution works like a charm...will have to create backup addon once new version of 1channel is released on XBMC. Btw what does that return does? just curious!
