Hi,

I'm having a bit of a problem getting a specific XBMC addon to list available streams in PMS. The addon is for Own3D. It appears as an [xbmc] folder in my PS3 fine, but when browsing to the Live Streams folder nothing (apart from add bookmark before I turned this off) appeared. The plugin is the UndeadHunter fork listed here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=83544&page=6

In addition, the Twitch TV addon available through the XBMC addon repository isn't appearing as a [xbmc] folder at all on my PS3.

I attach my logs from recreating the Own3D problem. I hope what's needed for the Twitch problem is in there too.

If you change the addon's folder name to just plugin.video.engineeredchaos.own3Dtv jumpy should be able to find it.

See here for the temporary twitch tv fix.

Btw I'd suggest updating your PMS to the current version, PMS-SHB is out of date now.

Hi, and thanks for your help. Some progress, just not quite there yet! The list of streams is now appearing correctly, but whenever I choose one the PS3 throws an error "The content cannot be played (800288E1)".

The Twitch fix didn't work unfortunately, it's still not appearing as an option in the base Jumpy menu on the PS3.

Updated logs attached.

Edit: I did update PMS to the newest normal version, with the most up to date pmsencoder and a fresh install of jumpy. I did however merge all the other things across from SHB.

Pmsencoder isn't matching the link to rtmpdump and defaulting to mplayer which doesn't know how to play it. This probably means that your PMS.conf (which isn't included in your zip) is missing a correct rtmpdump.path setting:

Code: Select all
rtmpdump.path = c:\\path\\to\\rtmpdump.exe

did you overwrite PMS.conf when you merged your old files?

Did you re-apply the twitch-fix after updating jumpy? If yes then does a script.module.simplejson folder exist inside either 'C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC' or 'C:\Users\Geoff\AppData\Roaming\XBMC'? You may need to install it if it's not there.

Hi, and thanks for your patience with this!

Unfortunately still getting the same PS3 error with the Own3d stream, although I've checked the log and the problem you pointed out has gone.

The Twitch still isn't appearing. I did update the py file, and have checked and simplejson is in D:\Programs\XBMC\Plugins, which is my XBMC install path.

Another set of debugs!

The spaces in rtmpdump.path are problematic for pmsencoder, try the relative path instead:
Code: Select all
rtmpdump.path = extras\\bin\\rtmpdump.exe

I'll get back to you on twitch.

Note to self: read, don't skim :). Add xbmc.main.path to PMS.conf if your xbmc install path is non-standard:
Code: Select all
xbmc.main.path = D:\\Programs\\XBMC
