How to use WebVideoStream?

Postby provegard » Thu Aug 15, 2013 12:02 pm

Hi,

I'm using DLNAResource.addChild to add a WebVideoStream to a VirtualFolder. The child ends up not being added. It's removed by this code in DLNAResource:

Code: Select all
} else if (!child.getFormat().isCompatible(child.getMedia(), getDefaultRenderer()) && !child.isFolder()) {
   getChildren().remove(child);
}

The format of the resource is WEB, which only matches IMAGE:

Code: Select all
 public boolean isCompatible(DLNAMediaInfo media, RendererConfiguration renderer) {
   // Emulating ps3compatible()
   return type == IMAGE;
}

But WebVideoStream is constructed with type VIDEO.

What's the proper way to use WebVideoStream?

Never mind, I was running from within Eclipse and had no existing players. Running pms.exe with my plugin in the plugins folder worked.
